Job summary

Boyd Group Services in Pearl, MS is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver quality repairs and exceptional customer experiences by restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will work with a team to meet KPIs and uphold the Brand Ambassador promise.

Responsibilities include planning repair work, using cutting tools, removing damaged sections, realigning chassis, welding, repainting, and inspecting finished work. High school diploma or technical training required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers; uses cutting tools and equipment to repair sections.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins to repair minor damage.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new/aftermarket parts; repairs glass and windshields as needed.
• Replaces or repairs interior parts as needed.
• Welds and fits parts; prepares and repaints vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Inspects vehicles after repair to ensure all work is correct.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
