Job summary

JP Morgan Chase in Tampa is seeking a Credit Verification Specialist to support Chase Auto Underwriting. You will contact customers to verify information, perform employment and insurance verification, and help drive timely underwriting decisions in a high-volume environment.

You will collaborate with dealers and internal partners, manage a busy pipeline, and ensure accuracy, clear communication, and a strong customer experience throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency reading and speaking both Spanish and English.
• Demonstrated customer service or retail sales experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and adapt in a changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct phone interviews with potential and existing auto customers to verify information and complete due diligence
• Coordinate with dealers, customers, and internal teams to resolve verification questions and close open items
• Perform employment verification in accordance with procedures
• Perform insurance verification in accordance with procedures
• Investigate and validate loan application details and supporting information
• Rekey applications to correct submission errors and improve data accuracy
• Meet or exceed quality audit standards by following documented processes and maintaining complete records
• Support document retention requirements by ensuring verification documentation is captured and stored appropriately
• Manage a daily pipeline to meet service level commitments to automotive dealers
