Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Litigation Claims Examiner to manage litigated auto-claims files from intake through resolution. You will evaluate liability, gather evidence, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with defense counsel and vendors. This is a remote, national role with frequent collaboration across teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in claims handling, 5+ years in litigation, a Bachelor's degree, and proven negotiation and analytical skills. Travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees are a plus.
• 10+ years of claim handling experience with 5+ years in litigation.
• Translation of legal knowledge into actionable claims strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage legal aspects of litigated cases, incl. evaluation of process and expenses.
• Analyze auto claims to identify disputes, gather information, and assess liability/damages.
• Negotiate and settle claims with opposing parties or providers.
• Oversee litigation cases, attend mediations/arbitrations/court hearings as needed.
• Collaborate with defense, claims, and litigation vendors to plan strategy.
• Review documents, maintain action plans, and ensure compliance.
• Appear as Corporate Representative at depositions/trials when required.
• Ensure licensing requirements are maintained and regulatory obligations met.
