Job summary

Lynn Rodens is seeking an experienced Claims Examiner III to independently manage Commercial Auto, PIP/No-Fault, and General Liability claims from initial review through resolution in a fully remote contract role.

The ideal candidate will analyze coverage, severity, and exposure, establish reserves, and develop settlement strategies while coordinating with counsel, investigators, and vendors to deliver timely outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Commercial Auto, PIP/No-Fault, and General Liability claims experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve Commercial Auto, PIP/No-Fault, and General Liability claims.
• Review policy language and determine coverage, liability, damages, and exposure.
• Establish and maintain appropriate claim reserves.
• Develop settlement and litigation strategies.
• Negotiate settlements within assigned authority.
• Coordinate with outside counsel, investigators, experts, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate file documentation, activity notes, and claim diaries.
• Prepare detailed reports addressing coverage, liability, damages, and recommendations.
• Identify subrogation, contribution, and risk-transfer opportunities.
• Deliver responsive, professional service to internal and external stakeholders.
