Job summary

New Country in Hartford, CT seeks a Billing specialist to prepare paperwork for titling, process retail transactions, and ensure accuracy of taxes and title documents in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The role requires at least 3 years of billing experience in an automotive dealership, proficiency with ADP and general computer skills, and excellent communication. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of billing experience in a car dealership setting.
• Proficiency with ADP and computer systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare paperwork for titling of new, used and wholesale transactions.
• Ensure retail transactions are processed in a timely manner.
• Prepare tax and title documents.
• Submit all legal transfer documents to the state DMV.
• Provide additional administrative support as needed.
• Keep current with applicable laws.
• Contact banks to obtain lien releases.
• Apply for duplicate titles when needed.
• Check paperwork for accuracy before forwarding to accounting.
• Issue stock numbers and stock-in used vehicles purchased.
• Prepare and maintain trade-in vehicle jackets.
• Follow up on all payoffs to ensure prompt title releases.
