Job summary

LoanMart is seeking a detail-oriented Title Department associate to ensure proper lienholder listings on vehicle titles and to process title-related requests. You will coordinate with customers, third parties, and the DMV while maintaining accurate records and supporting teammates in a fast-paced environment.

This onsite role requires organization, strong written and verbal communication, and flexibility for occasional driving to the DMV.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to produce accurate, error-free administrative work.
• Reliable and precise in completing tasks under pressure.
• Written communication skills for formal and technical audiences.
• Experience in sales, telemarketing, or call center environments preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers and third parties to update and obtain information on title lien statuses.
• Resolve title-related requests, inquiries, and discrepancies for customers, other departments, finance companies, and the DMV.
• Consult with Legal Department to identify possible recovery or lien reinstatement opportunities.
• Provide detailed documentation of account and lien activity using reports and internal systems.
• Mail documents to customers and third parties.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
• May drive to the DMV to process lien/title requests, pay fees, or deliver documents.

LoanMart provides fast, professional assistance to financially stressed or credit-challenged borrowers. Our place in the community was built over twenty-five years, growing from a family-owned single storefront in Van Nuys into the largest auto title lender in California.

ABOUT THE POSITION-

The Title Department ensures that LoanMart is properly listed and released as a lienholder on vehicle title records when customers request an Auto Title Loan.

JOB DUTIES-

Achieve monthly title acquisition goals, both as an individual and as a team to reduce title delinquencies:

• Follow up with customers and third parties to update and obtain as much information regarding title lien statuses
• Resolve title-related requests/inquiries/discrepancies for customers, other department members, finance companies and/or the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Consult with the Legal Department to identify possible recovery or lien reinstatement opportunities on accounts lacking the proper lien status.
• Provide detailed documentation of account and/or lien activity utilizing reports and internal systems.
• Mail documents to customers and third parties.
• Assist with additional duties as needed
• May require driving to local Department of Motor Vehicles to process lien/title requests, pay fees, or pick up or deliver documents to the DMV.

JOB REQUIREMENTS-

• Weekends and overtime as needed to meet monthly performance goals
• Must have at least one year of sales, telemarketing or call center experience.
• Valid driver license, reliable personal vehicle, and valid vehicle insurance
• Previous experience with California DMV Lien implementation/release process is highly desirable.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required.

STRUCTURE:

• This is a full-time, onsite position. Position start time will rotate between 7 a.m., 8 a.m., and 8:30 a.m. on a weekly basis.
