Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands in Warner Robins, GA seeks a Customer Service Representative to grow relationships with customers and support the Store Operations team. You will educate customers about loan and pawn processes, process payments, and help maintain accurate records at the point-of-sale.

You will work with a friendly team, adhere to company policies and laws, and participate in community events to build brand loyalty. A full-time schedule with some Saturdays is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with customers and peers.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accurate data entry.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for workday use.
  • Proficiency with phone, POS, Microsoft Office and computer systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Background check required as per law.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer experience throughout loan/pawn cycle.
  • Assist in customer account management, accepting payments and scheduling.
  • Leverage partnerships to obtain referrals and participate in in-store events.
  • Develop customer relationships to grow business and brand loyalty.
  • Conduct vehicle appraisals using the assessment tool.
  • Maintain accurate customer information in POS system.
  • Uphold company policies and applicable laws.
  • Maintain security procedures, vault, cash drawer, and deposits.
  • Work in a fast-changing environment with multiple tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Maintain a full-time in-person schedule, including limited Saturdays.

Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you will use your love for business, people, and the community coupled with your passion for customer service to build relationships. You will serve as a vital contributor to our Store Operations team and demonstrate your motivation by seizing learning and training opportunities to help launch your career. We'll be an advocate for your growth by providing you resources to help develop your skillset, turning your passion into a rewarding career.

Responsibilities

Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the full cycle of the loan or pawn process by educating consumers and making recommendations based on their financial needs.

Assist in customer account management by accepting payments, monitoring, and managing customer appointments.

Work to meet Company-set performance standards by leveraging business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtaining referrals, and participating in and hosting in-store and community events.

Develop customer relationships to build new business, maintain store profitability, and further brand loyalty and recognition.

Conduct vehicle appraisals accurately using the assessment tool.

Enter and maintain customer information in the Point-of-Sale system with accuracy and integrity.

Uphold compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Maintain office security protocols and conduct proper opening and closing procedures, including management of vault, cash drawer, and bank deposits.

Work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.

Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with customers and Team Members at all levels.

Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including limited Saturday hours, is required for this position. A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40-hours per week.*

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated)
  • Proficiency in using phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Background check required. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance with applicable law.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands for this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing
  • Prior cash handling, cash drawer/vault management experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations
