Job summary

Tideworks is seeking an Auto Lot Manager in Long Beach, CA to oversee automotive and RoRo cargo operations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

This onsite role requires leadership of supervisory teams, coordination of labor and equipment, and collaboration with customers and vessel operators to ensure timely, compliant cargo movements. CPR/Driver's license/TWIC are required, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or maritime-related field or 5+ years in transportation and maritime operations.
• Valid CPR certificate, Driver's license, and TWIC card required.
• Highly organized with proven leadership and attention to detail.
• Must observe all safety and health requirements for the terminal environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all automotive and RoRo operations to ensure safe, efficient cargo handling.
• Plan and coordinate labor, equipment, and facilities to meet schedules and productivity goals.
• Lead supervisory and operations staff, assign priorities, and monitor performance.
• Investigate disruptions, damages, and incidents; implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with customers and terminal partners to ensure seamless cargo execution.
• Serve as Facility Security Officer (FSO) and ensure MTSA/Coast Guard compliance.
• Support environmental and sustainability initiatives and regulatory compliance.
