Job summary

Autoport Limited is seeking a dedicated Terminal Manager to oversee 24/7 operations at our Markham, IL terminal. Build strong safety culture, manage supervisory staff, and drive efficiency while delivering reliable service to automotive customers.

You will lead labor planning, maintain cost controls, and foster productive relationships with customers and carriers. A background in union environments and post-secondary education are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership with track record in a unionized environment.
• Deep understanding of health and safety policies.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with HR processes and performance management.
• Post-secondary education in a related field; 5 years’ experience, 3 in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 terminal operations and lead the supervisor team.
• Optimize labor and schedules to meet daily, weekly, monthly targets.
• Ensure safety compliance and foster a culture of safety.
• Monitor financial performance and cost controls.
• Build relationships with customers and carriers.
• Report on safety and operating metrics to management.
