Job summary

Grease-Monkey Texas is seeking a Technician B to perform brakes, rotors, oil changes, transmissions and cooling system work, plus tire services. You will diagnose issues, complete repairs per repair orders, and educate customers on preventive maintenance.

Requirements include 3+ years of related experience, ability to read safety rules and manuals, and accurate ticket documentation. A valid driver’s license and state emissions certification are preferred; ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of related experience or training.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions and manuals.
• Ability to write routine tickets and notes.
• Valid driver’s license and emissions certification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and services per repair order with accuracy and efficiency.
• Work on brakes, rotors, oil changes, transmissions, cooling systems and tires.
• Diagnose vehicle problems and communicate results to customers.
• Document all work performed and recommended actions.
• Road test vehicles as needed and keep shop clean and organized.
• Operate tools safely and comply with safety regulations.
