Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands‑on experience in one of Goodyear’s Auto Service centers. You’ll diagnose technical issues with a mechanical aptitude while delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities include performing line technician services, routine inspections, brake repairs, and tire installation, with opportunities to learn, document work, and advance within a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
ASE Certification preferred.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
Experience in electrical, air conditioning, and fuel ignition work.

Responsibilities

Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and brake repairs.
Install tires and perform wheel alignments.
Provide excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles.
Document all work performed on repair orders and maintain safety compliance.
Mentor junior automotive technicians and promote teamwork during operating hours.
