Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, a nationwide tire and auto service leader, seeks a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in our Auto Service centers. You will diagnose technical issues with a mechanical aptitude while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include line technician services, brake repairs, alignments, and preventative maintenance, along with documenting work orders and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving.
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Report safety issues immediately to management.
• Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during operating hours.
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
