Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring a Mid-Level Automotive Technician at one of its Auto Service centers. The role offers hands-on diagnosis of vehicle issues and practical training in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for advancement.

Main duties include line technician services, brakes, alignments, inspections, and documenting work orders while delivering guests with clear communication and quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics and brake repairs.
• Demonstrate guest service by providing clear communication about guest vehicles and mentoring junior technicians.
• Document all work performed on the repair order and report safety issues to management.
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation; work includes lifting and long periods of standing.
