Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers. You will diagnose technical issues with mechanical aptitude while delivering outstanding service.

You will learn line technician services, routine inspections, system diagnostics, and perform brake repairs, fluid exchanges and tire installation, while mentoring junior technicians and documenting all work for the repair order.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Display a commitment to learning new technologies and ability to review and interpret information.

Responsibilities

Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics and repairs.
Carry out brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, and tire installation with attention to safety.
Provide excellent guest service, communicate clearly about guest vehicles, and mentor junior technicians.
Document all work on the repair order and report safety issues to management.
Maintain teamwork to deliver timely guest care during all operating hours.
