Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to perform basic diagnostic and repair tasks, including oil changes, tire services, brakes, suspension, and alignments. The role offers a total compensation of $20–$30 per hour, combining base pay with flat-rate or bonus earnings, and benefits such as insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and are willing to obtain a State Inspector License where

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Current, valid Driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• State Inspector License (in applicable locations) is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
• Uses the Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order to document vehicle condition.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections (where applicable).
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Adheres to company policies and values.
