Job summary

Monro Huntington, IN is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic vehicle repairs and maintenance, including tires, oil changes, and inspections. The role is full-time or part-time and pays hourly based on business needs.

Candidates should be prepared to uphold Monro's customer-first service standards and safety policies. Responsibilities include performing services efficiently, assisting with inventory, and ensuring a clean, guest-ready store.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs in accordance with Monro standards.
• Tire Services – wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, changing, mounting, TPMS service and repair.
• Vehicle Services – lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance, battery testing and installations.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle and communicate additional needed services.
• Assist in inventory management and stocking of tires and parts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and readiness per Monro standards.
• Follow safety standards including wheel torque and oil safety procedures.
• Test drive vehicles per policy using dedicated routes and observe traffic laws.
• Adhere to company policies, governmental standards, and safety training.
• Maintain knowledge by completing Monro University training modules.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely according to guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
