Job summary

Monro, Inc. is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic vehicle maintenance and repair services in line with company standards and manufacturer specs. You will communicate vehicle issues and proposed solutions, ensuring guest expectations for time and quality are met.

The role offers both full-time and part-time schedules with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for ASE certification reimbursement, with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction across our stores.

Qualifications

• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs per Monro standards.
• Tire services including wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, mounting and TPMS.
• Oil changes, lubrications, battery testing/installations and basic maintenance.
• Complete Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle and document needed services.
• Assist inventory management and store duties to keep shop and guest areas clean.
• Follow safety standards including wheel torque and road test procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles per policy using designated routes.
• Maintain knowledge through Monro University training.
