Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic automotive services, including oil changes, tire maintenance, and inspections, while delivering excellent customer experiences. You will help maintain a clean, safe shop and may advise customers on recommended services.

Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends is required. Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and a passion for automotive technology with a drive to learn and grow

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Passion for automotive tech and customer service.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems as taught.
• Change engine oil and filter.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries and check starting/charging systems.
• Assist other technicians and keep the shop organized.
• Advise customers on services and repairs when appropriate.
