Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic automotive services, including oil changes, tire maintenance, and tire repairs, while delivering excellent customer service.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays. A safety-conscious, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Passion for a career as an automotive technician.
• Eager to learn and committed to ongoing training.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in a crew environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, suspension, and electrical.
• Perform oil changes, tire maintenance, and tire repairs.
• Install and replace headlights, wipers, batteries, and other standard parts.
• Stock tires and assist technicians; maintain a clean, safe shop.
