Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Livermore is seeking a General Service Technician to perform oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance. You will complete Digital Vehicle Inspections, document repair orders, and keep the shop clean and safe while learning from experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Reliable and safety-focused candidate with mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to learn basic automotive maintenance and repair processes.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety standards, and shop processes.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services: mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repair orders accurately.
• Identify safety issues and communicate findings to the store channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable under supervision.
• Keep shop, vehicles, and customer areas clean and presentable.
• Assist with parts transport and store operations as needed.
