Sun Auto Tire & Service in Tucson, AZ is seeking a General Service Technician for an entry-level automotive role. You’ll perform oil changes, tire services, basic maintenance, and Digital Vehicle Inspections while learning from experienced technicians and shop leaders.

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-focused and mechanically inclined.
• Willingness to learn basic automotive maintenance and repair processes.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to work with technicians, service advisors, and store leaders.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services: mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repairs accurately.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through proper channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable under supervision.
• Keep shop, customer vehicles, and public areas clean and presentable.
• Transport parts and tires using company vehicles as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; report hazards.
