Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Manager-on-Deck (MOD) to lead store performance in the Parker area, driving guest services, profitability and efficient operations. You will oversee financial controls, staffing, and day-to-day execution to ensure service quality and sales growth.

The role requires 2+ years in management within the automotive industry, with strong coaching, planning and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in management or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience coaching team members to success through effective communication.
• Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly and annual plans with clearly defined goals for their store.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Automotive Technician or similar experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and measures business trends; develops and implements plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed targets.
• Reviews invoices and daily reports to identify opportunities for growth.
• Maintains proper controls over financial assets and follows closing procedures.
• Sets expectations and communicates with employees on responsibilities, goals, training and customer service.
• Recruits, interviews and hires new employees in partnership with HR.
• Conducts regular performance evaluations and store audits.
• Ensures store cleanliness and merchandising standards; maintains housekeeping.
