Midas International, LLC is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager in Gary, IN. You will manage all automotive and general service technicians, deliver exceptional customer service, and build repair orders with pricing estimates.

You will lead a team, supervise up to ten employees, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while aligning with company values and growth goals. A strong background in service writing and customer relations is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail store manager experience
• Automotive Service Writing experience required
• Excellent customer service disposition
• Great communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate teammates
• Team building skills
• Ability to follow directions & process
• Ability to use computers and software
• Flexibility to work weekends/evenings/holidays
• Valid driver’s license

Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers
• Follow up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
• Lead, manage, and train team while aligning with company vision and values
• Supervise up to ten employees
• Oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles
• Maintain inventory counts
• Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Perform other duties as assigned
