Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Service Manager-like leader to blend auto repair expertise with strong people skills. You’ll manage technicians, coach staff, and help supervise parts and equipment purchases while ensuring top-notch service and customer relationships in a busy auto care environment.

You’ll recruit, train, and develop the team, drive sales through proactive customer engagement, and maintain quality standards in daily operations. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license to test drive customers' vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by effectively managing all aspects of customer interactions.
• Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries, feedback and concerns to foster long-term relationships.
• Develop understanding of business operations in automotive service to enhance efficiency and store operations.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
• Provide insights to front of shop to facilitate product and service sales.
• Capacity to lead and coach others; recruit and select technicians as needed.
