Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem solving and ability to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Capacity to lead and coach others, with strong teammate and customer communication.
• Willingness to continue education and stay current in automotive repair issues.
• Must have a valid automotive driver's license at all times to test drive customers' vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by managing all customer interactions, including proactive communication and follow-up.
• Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns to foster long-term relationships.
• Develop understanding of store operations from paperwork to financial transactions and policy adherence to enhance efficiency.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions, vehicle inspections, and coordination between back and front shop.
• Provide insights to front-of-shop to facilitate product and service sales.
