Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Colorado Springs is seeking a skilled Service Manager who blends automotive repair knowledge with strong people skills to manage customer relationships and supervise technicians. You will assist with parts and equipment purchases while coaching staff and ensuring service quality.

The role emphasizes driving customer satisfaction, hiring and training, and maintaining standards across the service department. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license.
• Willingness to continue education and ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by effectively managing all aspects of customer interactions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and feedback.
• Develop understanding of business operations and optimize store efficiency.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
• Provide insights to the front of the shop to facilitate product and service sales.
