Nelson Mazda Murfreesboro in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Service Assistant to create a welcoming, organized, and professional experience for every service customer from arrival to vehicle return.

This full-time, hourly role collaborates with Service Advisors, Technicians, and the Service Manager to greet customers promptly, keep them informed, assist throughout their visit, and ensure a smooth check-in, loaner or pickup experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred; automotive industry a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Proficient computer skills and MS Office.
• Detail-oriented with accurate record keeping.
• Able to work evenings and weekends; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers promptly and professionally.
• Assist check-in and vehicle drop-off.
• Direct customers to service staff and lanes.
• Monitor waiting area and keep customers informed.
• Assist with transportation, loaners, valet, and pickup.
• Coordinate with advisors on arrivals, status, ETA.
• Provide updates to customers on vehicle status.
• Support daily administrative and customer-experience tasks.
• Identify customer concerns and escalate as needed.
• Follow dealership policies and safety standards.
