Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers. You will schedule associates, manage service appointments, and organize workflow to deliver quality work on time to guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive service department experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Candidats must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions including tire and service sales.
• Build guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction as liaison between technicians and guests.
• Effectively manage the service department as needed.
• Contribute to training and development of service department associates.
• Articulate warranties, promotions, and advertisements.
• Utilize tools to make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
