Job summary

Delta World Tire Company in Columbus, MS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager/Service Advisor to promote services and manage daily store operations. Responsibilities include greeting customers, documenting service needs, quoting costs and timelines, recommending services, and tracking warranties.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license or obtain a valid driver’s license within 30 days of hire date.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday’s.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the phone.
• Listen to and document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and reference history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and document all recommendations in the customer file.
• Promote services, parts, and accessories; communicate warranties and timelines.
• Provide accurate quotes with cost and completion time; update customers throughout the day.
• Close out tickets with a review of the multi-point inspection and warranties.
• Conduct post repair follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track returns and warranty parts for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
