Job summary

Ossie’s Auto Repair is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to manage customer interactions from first contact to vehicle pickup. You will write repairs, present estimates, obtain approvals, and keep customers informed throughout the process.

Responsibilities include sending digital inspections, explaining urgency of repairs, coordinating with technicians, ordering parts, and tracking job progress. Monday–Friday, on-site at Bohemia shop, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive service advisor or service writer required.
• Comfortable selling repairs and explaining pricing.
• Clear communication and dependable attendance.
• Accurate paperwork and follow-through are essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle the customer visit from first phone call through pickup.
• Listen carefully, write accurate repair orders, present estimates, obtain approvals, and keep customers updated.
• Send digital vehicle inspections and walk customers through findings.
• Explain repairs needed now vs. later and coordinate with technicians.
• Order parts, track job status, and follow up on estimates and recommended work.
• Keep appointments, authorizations, and conversations organized.
