Job summary

Grubbs Family of Dealerships is seeking a client-facing Service Advisor to be the face of the service department. You will greet customers, document concerns, and present transparent service recommendations with honest pricing.

You will coordinate with technicians and parts to deliver accurate timelines and drive customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes integrity, strong communication, and the ability to explain technical work in simple terms.

Qualifications

• Service advisor or strong customer service / sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain technical work in terms customers understand.
• Comfortable with DMS / CRM technology.
• Integrity-first approach to recommending and selling service.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers promptly and conduct a thorough walk-around and write-up.
• Listen to customer concerns and document them clearly for accurate diagnosis.
• Present recommended and declined services with honesty and evidence.
• Provide accurate estimates, timelines, and proactive updates.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep work moving and accurate.
• Drive customer-pay sales, hours per RO, and effective labor rate while protecting CSI.
• Handle concerns calmly and own the resolution.
• Follow up after visits to confirm satisfaction and earn the next service.
