Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge customers and technicians in our state-of-the-art service departments. You will set appointments, explain vehicle service recommendations, and identify up-sell opportunities while ensuring a positive, transparent customer experience.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, accurate estimates, and timely communication with customers and the service team to maintain loyalty and safety on the road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer experience skills essential.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers and use technology.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers and identify vehicle needs through information gathering and walk-arounds.
• Explain technician recommendations in clear language and suggest up-sell opportunities.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates; communicate with technicians and parts staff.
• Follow up with customers on vehicle status and satisfaction.
