Job summary

Fix Group Management is seeking a seasoned Service Advisor for our busy auto repair shop in Tennessee. You will greet customers, document vehicle concerns, walk around inspections, and clearly explain repairs and costs while keeping customers informed throughout the process.

Responsibilities include creating repair orders, quoting and invoicing, coordinating with technicians, and assisting with warranty claims. A competitive base plus commissions drives earnings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Service Advisor or related position.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Windows computers and basic office software.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Ability to work in a busy environment with interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect check-in details (VIN, mileage, concerns).
• Walkaround the vehicle and document condition with photos.
• Prepare accurate repair notes and justify recommendations.
• Explain repairs and sell services per profit matrix while explaining value.
• Coordinate with technicians, store manager, parts manager to meet timelines.
• Update customers regularly on repair status and ETA.
• Create and manage repair orders, quotes, and invoices.
• Coordinate extended warranty claims and documentation.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and board status in Tekmetric.
