Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a General Laborer I to join the production team in a outdoor auto salvage yard setting. You will work safely to support core and scrap production, help customers pull parts, and ensure environmental compliance.

A variable schedule including weekends and holidays is required, with a focus on safety and teamwork. The role involves manual handling, operating equipment, and maintaining cleanliness while complying with all policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow verbal and written safety messages and hazard communications.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions throughout a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove Freon, power steering and other fluids, batteries, and waste in compliance with procedures.
• Position vehicles on wheel stands to provide customer access and restore area for the next vehicle set.
• Operate tire machine to separate tires from wheels and prep rims for shipment.
• Collect and harvest dismantled core materials and maintain the work area to minimize downtime and hazards.
• Assist customers in a courteous and professional manner and complete regulatory and tracking logs.
