Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a General Laborer I to join the production team in an outdoor auto salvage yard. You will handle vehicles safely, remove fluids and parts, and help customers by preparing cores and parts for sale while following environmental and safety procedures.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working variable schedules including weekends. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including safety messages and hazard communications.
• Ability to work required hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions over a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and promote safety culture in the yard.
• Position vehicles on wheel stands and prepare for customer access.
• Operate the tire machine to separate tires and prepare rims for shipment.
• Assist customers courteously and prepare boxes, logs, and inspect equipment.
