Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a General Laborer I to join its production team in an outdoor auto salvage yard. You will help process vehicles safely to produce core and scrap products, assist customers in selling parts, and help maintain environmental compliance.

This role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule including weekends and peak sale days. The position offers competitive pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401k with company match, and paid

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including safety messages and hazard communications.
• Ability to work required hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions for the duration of a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and promote safety culture; wear PPE as required.
• Safely remove fluids, batteries, and materials following prescribed procedures.
• Position vehicles for customer access and prepare for next vehicle set.
• Dismantle engines and transmissions and harvest core materials.
• Assist customers courteously and prepare shipments.
