Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a General Laborer I to join the auto salvage yard team. You will contribute to production by safely handling vehicles, extracting fluids and core components, and preparing parts for customers while maintaining environmental compliance.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols, physical effort to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including weekends and peak sales days.

Qualifications

• Must follow verbal and written safety instructions and hazard communications such as waste oil, gasoline, and flammable materials.
• Able to work required hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Able to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions for the duration of a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and promote the company safety culture.
• Follow all policies and procedures with professionalism.
• Dismantle and handle automotive parts and fluids per procedures.
• Position vehicles for customer access and prepare areas for next set.
• Assist in cleanup, waste management, and environmental controls.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
