Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process low to mid-level auto and transportation claims. The role requires evaluating property damage, liability, and coverage, while maintaining professional client relations.

You'll work within a team environment, meeting deadlines and supporting Sedgwick's quality programs with attention to subrogation opportunities and salvage disposition. A bachelor's degree and licenses per state are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred; state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms.
• Strong communication and PC literacy (MS Office).
• Analytical, organized, and collaborative team player.

• Develops and maintains action plans to ensure deadlines are met and moves files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim action/processing with insured, client, and agent or broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned; supports quality programs.
