Job summary

Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. is seeking a Senior Pricing Product professional to own end-to-end rollout of personal auto pricing programs across assigned states. You will gather requirements, communicate with stakeholders, and serve as the pricing SME to guide state decisions and corporate strategy.

You will lead cross-functional workstreams, manage complex projects, and conduct analyses to support strategic business decisions, while educating IT partners on the vision and impact of changes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field.
• Minimum 6 years relevant work experience, typically 8 years.
• PhD or equivalent research beneficial.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem).
• Experience managing projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fully own and execute on assigned states' end-to-end rollout of the latest personal auto insurance pricing programs.
• Gather and document product requirements, clearly communicate requirements to stakeholders, and ensure accurate implementation.
• Act as the subject matter expert for the pricing program and assigned states, provide thoughtful recommendations that influence state decisions and help drive corporate strategy.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams and manage moderate to high complexity projects.
• Conduct complex analyses to drive and support business decisions; where necessary, conduct in depth research of competitor offerings and filings.
• Educate IT partners on business vision and plan, and both IT and business partners on the impact of changes.
• Independently manage project timelines, flag risks and develop contingency plans, elevate blockers as appropriate.
• Regularly update leadership and stakeholders on project progress, addressing concerns and managing communication channels.
• Lead job shadow discussions with less experienced analysts. Provides technical training and user support to business groups.
