Job summary

United Road Towing / VM Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Chicago impound facility. The role requires leadership, attention to detail, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will supervise staff, manage vehicle intake and releases, ensure accuracy of records, and communicate with management and field teams while adhering to City of Chicago procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience in towing or vehicle impound operations is a plus.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities.
• Ability to manage employees and make sound decisions independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional when dealing with difficult customers.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and ensure daily operations run efficiently.
• Oversee vehicle intake, inventory, storage, and release procedures.
• Verify vehicle information, including VIN numbers and tow records.
• Ensure all vehicle releases are properly authorized and processed.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and policy compliance.
• Assist with training, scheduling, and daily assignments.
• Handle customer concerns and escalated situations professionally.
• Maintain accurate payments, receipts, and daily transactions.
• Review paperwork for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
