Job summary

Crow Burlingame Co. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee profitability and sales at a Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts location. You will supervise 2–25 employees, manage purchasing, budgeting, and personnel tasks, and provide direct customer service in-store and by phone.

You will lead sales initiatives, train staff, and ensure compliance with policies and laws while promoting promotions and customer-focused activities. This role emphasizes profitability and team development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of auto parts experience.
• Management experience preferred; ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory, cash handling, or customer services.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure satisfactory service and quality goods; visit customers as needed by District Manager.
• Generate new sales accounts by cold calling and visiting potential customers.
• Grow store profits with current customers by suggesting new products and promotions.
• Maintain and submit call logs as required by the District Manager.
• Inventory, stock, and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level.
• Instruct staff on handling difficult and complicated sales.
• Hire, train, and evaluate personnel; promote, discipline, and terminate workers as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with company policies; run the store in compliance with laws.
• Perform duties including stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers.
• Attend virtual and in-person meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
