Job summary

NAPA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to combine automotive know-how with leadership to run a high-performing store in Louisville. You will support the Store Manager across daily operations, supervise staff, and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring top-notch service and store standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, inventory health, and efficient operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade courses or degree preferred.
Experience in automotive aftermarket or willingness to learn.
Leadership experience in fast-paced environments.
Customer care focus and relationship building is essential.
Knowledge of cataloging and inventory systems.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
ASE certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

Partner with Store Manager on operations, sales execution and staffing.
Open/close routines including security, cash reconciliation and end-of-day reporting.
Handle scheduling input, compliance, reporting and basic P&L awareness.
Lead and train team; manage performance and development.
Drive customer relationships across in-store, phone and dealer channels.
Monitor store metrics and drive improvements in sales, inventory, and employee productivity.
