Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in the United States seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead store operations and drive profitability. You will review P&L statements, deliver GAS3 selling experiences for DIY and DIFM customers, and achieve personal and store sales objectives.

Qualifications

• Higher emphasis on profitability and P&L management.
• Experience selling to DIY and DIFM customers with GAS3 approach.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem solving.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• AES P2 certification or equivalent readiness is desirable.
• Ability to manage inventory and use parts lookup systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze P&L statements and drive profitability.
• Provide GAS3 selling experience for DIY and DIFM customers.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and address complaints promptly.
• Perform manager on duty duties including coaching, floor/phone mgmt., scheduling, and safety.
• Oversee weekly scheduling processes.
