Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead store operations and profitability. You will analyze P&L statements, coach a 10–20 member team, and drive GAS3 selling for DIY and DIFM customers.

The role requires strong English communication, Microsoft Office skills, and ability to manage scheduling and on-duty coaching. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in business or related area
• ASE Certification preferred but not required
• Strong English communication; Spanish a plus
• Ability to review and analyze P&L statements
• Experience managing a team of 10–20 in retail

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze P&L statements for the store.
• Provide GAS3 selling experience for DIY and DIFM customers.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing.
• Oversee manager-on-duty responsibilities and scheduling.
• Ensure safety, floor/phone mgmt. and task completion.
