Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Seneca, SC is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver a high level of service to retail and installer customers, and to support store management with daily tasks. This position emphasizes friendly, professional customer service, accurate parts lookups, and adherence to company programs.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; ASE certification and Spanish language skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
• ASE certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Answer store phone calls, look up parts and quote prices, and offer related items.
• Maintain and secure cash drawer, process cash/credit transactions, and handle exchanges/returns.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, and store hygiene.
• Perform daily operational tasks including stock adjustments and inventory counts.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
• Perform in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, and more.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
