Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales/service objectives. The role requires basic store systems knowledge, automotive part knowledge, and sourcing ability from stores, hubs, pdq, and suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. Expect responsibilities in customer service, battery/wiper services, inventory accuracy, and operating POS and lookup systems.

Qualifications

• Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieve our sales and service objectives.
• Basic knowledge of store systems and basic part knowledge.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Deep knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes.
• Fleet safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installations and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
