Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet our sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

You will perform DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements, maintain inventory and storefront standards, and handle parts delivery as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English clearly and effectively.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operation instructions.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards
