Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with entry-level selling responsibilities. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

You will provide excellent DIY customer service, work toward personal and store sales goals, assist with battery and wiper installations, and help maintain inventory and operational standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years sales experience in retail
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Basic automotive knowledge
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers
• Meet personal sales goals and help store reach targets
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs)
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Manage inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, etc.)
• Deliver parts to customers safely
• Keep store clean and organized
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems
• Use delivery board system
• Maintain safety knowledge and skills
