Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson in Glen Allen, VA to support the DIY business. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and DIY services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers via in-store visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product organization and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock and shelving.
