Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Ohio is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business, learn store systems, and apply basic automotive and parts knowledge while driving service and sales goals.

You will handle in-store and phone interactions, assist with battery installations, wiper installs, inventory processes, and keep shelves and checkout areas organized; weekend availability and safety mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and manuals.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and measurements.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs, etc.
